Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Visor, sneakers, jean shorts, sleeveless shirt all make this picture a total NOT. The bike - if it has got to be a harley and it aint a wide glide = not.

It's just the intended use, I use my bikes for. Don't think I don't appreciate steel frames I do. I really like the look of your Colnago, and a lot of the other steel bikes out there. There was an English Cycles bike on the Fairwheel bikes forum with an ISP, and internal Di2, with a charging port integrated in the seatube, internal batteries, and Di2 adjustment integrated into the stem. I don't even like Di2, but I really like that bike. I never thought they were going to be real similar. It is simply the extent of my knowledge of steel frames. I also replaced the steel fork on my aluminum cx bike with a carbon one. It was an improvement as well.

What about bikes that run on pasta? If I ever buy a motorcycle, I only have one choice.

Don't know too much about that Aprilia. My friend had a MV F4, and I was in love with it at first sight. Call me old school, but I'd rather not have traction control, but launch control sounds like a good idea.

So I take it you race your Ducati, given your username, and avatar? I rode road bikes with a 16yr old kid from Canada who was in town racing his Ducati at Mid Ohio last summer. He happened to be at one of the group rides at the LBS, and then the two of us rode again the next day. If you're ever in town for a race bring your bike, and let me know. I'll show you the best roads around this area.

Soloist Assassin Don't get me wrong, I love the MV. It was designed by Tamburini, and he designed my old Ducati 996! That was the original sexy bike! I will be racing the entire CCS Midwest series this year, so if I make it up your way I will take you up on the directions to the good roads. Any chance to ride the twisties!!!!!...I will even buy you dinner in exchange!
