Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think the 56 s5 is decent looking the 54 is the best but the 58 made me hate the bike

conan's bike looks ridiculous. The headtube is twice the normal length, actually could be 3x the normal length if counting old school steel frames. The weird part is that he's like 6'4" which isn't abnormal.

shawn bradley's (7'7" former NBA player) bike actually doesn't look worse than conan's and he's over a foot taller!

Ha. Yes, I went with functionality over aesthetics. The bag could have come off easily enough, but there was no way I was moving those cages after getting them right!

Love that Cervelo RS Giro D'Italia Edition. Don't recall ever seeing pink forks but I like. What wheelset are those anyways? Curious.

Yes they are the Neuvation R28 wheel. Great strong wheels. When I got them quite some time ago they were throwing in a ceramic bearing upgrade. Thousands of miles later still buttery smooth.

Very hot. For me, frankly, this reinforces my opinion that their regular paint jobs suck - it's a beautiful frame with cleans lines before they muck it up.

Exactly. Its getting hard to find a frame without looking like a moving advertisement. I don't mind the company name on the down tube but then some also have it on the fork, top tube, chain stays and seat stays. Oh and seat tube sometimes too. All at once!

There are ways of doing it tasetfully. This Scapin has the word "Scapin" appear 17 times on it without looking like a billboard:

Just take a razor blade to that crap, and then repaint it like I did to my Trek. In the next few weeks my saddle combo will be here for the S2, and the Trek will inherit the SLR. I'll have to submit some new pics then. The current saddle is atrocious, but comfy.

you cut both wheels and the crank off. is it difficult for you to look through the view finder on your camera? taking pictures of bicycles is not like taking pictures of cars. take the picture from a side profile. It shows your bikes details much better. Still a sexy bike, but it needs a good picture to really do it justice IMO

Don't hold back, Bianchi! I like the photo above but I wouldn't mind seeing a full-shot from the side. Nice looking bike.

Here's an updated picture. Fizik microtex tape, higher saddle, lower bars. I also just waxed my frame with Meguiars Gold Class wax.

This is actually one of the nicer paint jobs and it looks quite nice. Not sure why the put the extra "cervelo" on the front of the seat tube. I feel like the logo on the down tube and the small one on the top tube is just perfect. When will they learn less is more!

Hot bike, photo not so much. Take a look how I set up my photo of the cervelo. The shallower depth of field is nice. Just take the photo from the side and frame it or crop just enough to keep the bike in frame.
