Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What about Sram Red-TDF edition w/ the yellow highlights. And if you can remove or cover up that Shimano decal on the chainstay... minor details. But still HOT overall.

An S-Works crank is what every S-Works needs. If nothing else stripping the Red logos, and re-clearing the Red cranks would work. Black chainrings would be great too. Someone with a Specialized needs to buy these:

I would put them on my Cervelo, but they probably weigh a bit, and would clash since my bike isn't a Specialized.

Nice... Though I think the candy cane tape would've worked if you had a red saddle with white highlights/lettering.

I think all the bikes here are hot in their own way. Not everything needs to be built in 'race ready' fashion, bikes should be built to suit the riding that the rider will actually be doing.

Love the Rat Fink decal!!!
I use that image as an Avatar @ one of the local bike forums.
Hot!
& I totally agree with "everything being built race ready".

New Firefly Build Just Complete

First venture in the ti world. Pretty pleased with the bike/build. The team at Firefly are producing some really amazing custom frames and are awesome to work with.

Mad Fiber wheelset was delayed 5+ months, but finally arrived Friday and well worth the wait...so far. Will report back once I get some serious miles under them. With build just complete, still tweaking some of the finer details and may lose some of the yellow accents (too much). Also toyed with idea of custom decals for the Mad Fibers but leaving as is for now…may debadge completely and just go naked.

Build Details:

- Frame: Firefly custom ti (56.5)
o Drilled for internal Di2 routing (for future upgrade)
o Drilled for internal brake routing
o Repositioned cable guides on down tube (lower & more underneath)
o Added old school “chain hanger”
o Custom decals and painted head badge
- Gruppo: SRAM Red – Yellow LTE
o FD: SRAM Force
o Cassette: Shimano Dura Ace 7900
o Chain: Shimano Dura Ace 7901
- Cockpit / Headset / Fork / Seatpost: Ritchey WCS Carbon
- Saddle: Fizik Antares 00 w/carbon braided rails
- Pedals: Speedplay Zero Stainless – Yellow TDF edition
- Cables: Gore Ride-On Pro
- Cages: Arundel Mandible
- Wheels: Mad Fiber Ceramic Clinchers (66mm rear / 60mm front)
- Tires: Conti GP4000S
- Total Weight: 15.2 lbs

Super HOT , however Ti bikes need to be posted in front of rock solid materials, not flimsy garage doors. Those are reserved for the plastic bikes

I'm usually not a fan of silver bikes with black forks. As in never. However, from an asthetic point of view I wouldn't change anything on this bike. For some reason what you have done here works, and works well.

Keep the wheels as is. It goes great with the frame.
