Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Not a fan of Specialized personally, but the above is borderline for making a rule exception.

HOT

Despite not liking Shimano

PS: I am surprised nobody has submitted Patentcad's bike given that it must have been mentioned in any one day over the last few months more than all other bikes in this forum combined for the last 5 years!!!

You don't play fair buddy. Hot for sure despite the freaking seat that almost got you banned from the site altogether. Hideous, but the rest of the bike brings you back on the dismount!!

Not a huge fan of the aesthetic achievement, or lack of them, from Cannondale. Despite that, hot for sure.

hot. if that is an old frame, it's in remarkably good condition. How do you keep it so shiny and scratch/chip free?

I wouldn't sneeze at any of these bikes. But, then again, I never met a bike I didn't like.

Ok, then. You guys liked my red Palo Alto and my blue Cinelli. After I finished building those bikes, I built a little something for my 11 year old daughter - a vintage Battaglin with 10 speed Veloce:

Thanks. The bike was on order at the time so I had nothing to photograph. BTW I posted an update on P34:
