I don't know, haven't tried to peel them off. I kind of like them, though you're right, they are busy. White tape would look good, I'll keep that in mind if I wreck this tape or swap bars.

I agree, I kind of like them on that bike. Not a Trek fan per se, something about their head tubes I don't like, but I like the look (other than the head tube) of this bike. White bar tap and black cranks would look good.

I like the wheel decals. The white stem on top of the black stack of spacers looks weird, I would swap to a black stem and either red tape that matches the frame or white tape. Nice looking bike!

Figured I'd post a pic while the bar tape was still fresh. I installed the Deda Newton shallow-drop bars and thought I'd try something different w/ the white tape. I also de-stickered the wheels because I wasn't a big fan of the massive white Campagnolo stickers that basically turned the black rims white. The frame lettering and bar tape is already enough white IMO. I'd really like to get some 303s on this thing, but that isn't happening any time soon.

I used to miss your caad9 but this update changes everything.
Do you still have the bora wheels? If so, quit thinking about 303s and get proper pictures.

The white and black color scheme on my Colnago is paint code PR99. It is a special edition color scheme to celebrate the earlier Masterlight frames. Even the shape of the top and down tubes was designed to commemorate the earlier Masterlight frames.
To be honest, I have never been a big fan of white frames. My other bikes are red and white (Bottecchia), Celeste-white-black (Bianchi) and orange and black (Cannondale). But the moment that I saw the Colnago in this particular color scheme I HAD to have it. It looks a lot better "in person." The white is so glossy it almost look like the paint is still wet and the black is not really black, it is nekkid carbon.
I understand your comments, but remember, white is the new black.
I think that if you saw this frame in person, you might be smitten--like I was.

HOT.
details on the build? Ti frame or Stainless steel?
maybe take a red magic permanent marker/paint to the yellow VP one plug on the bebop pedals to give it a tiny red accent?
wow... just wow...
EDIT:
I just wanted to add a picture of my bike to possibly have the first, and probably only, time two bikes that have bebop pedals have been presented sequentially, in this thread:

Normally I'm not a big fan of panels on Ti frames, but it goes so well with the other black and red bits on this build... awesome...
