Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you look at it, the Lightning one has so many holes! I emailed them asking for a price quote shipped to Canada and they never gave me a response. Last email I got was like "I'm still investigating the price, I'll let you know when I have it"

A week later, I ordered the S-works one

Understand completely, those things are expensive. Are the rims real?

It's all real.

It's a Pinarello ROKH B.O.B.

Certainly Asian with the Shimano and Toray 30HM12K fiber, but wheels are ENVE from the USA with DT240 on front and PowerTap SL+ on the back.

I understand the spacers comments, but being over 40 and riding mostly centuries, it works for me.

And yes, I was a little disappointed that Pinarello would not have a braze-on front, but the ride-feel, handling, and fit made up for that.

Keep it coming

What makes you think this is counterfeit? I can point out four different things on that frame that say it's an authentic Pinarello Rokh. Does that have a clamp on front derailleur? lol really? The rokh comes from the factory with a clamp on FD! I'd be suspicious had the frame had a braze on FD. I'd be willing to be his wheels are legit too.

Nice bike despite the spacer stack jambo... ignore these clowns.

Nice looking bike, the spacers do throw it off a bit from looking "pro", but you have to ride what fits. Question though, if you are really just riding centuries, why the Enves? Do you think they give you an advantage of some sort, or was it just a question of wanting wheels (for whatver reason) and feeling like the money was worth fulfilling your desire? There are disadvantages to them over other types (cross wind, etc) so I was curious why you would go for them if you are the type of "century rider" the tone of your post seems to indicate. (Other than the obvious ... looks, of course.)

So you want him to try to make up BS reasons to justify his purchase like the other 99% of BF? Looks is more than enough reason.

Dude - bring the BLUE back asap!!! I actually thought it was pretty sweet. It's actually inspiring me to match up my black and yellow jersey and shoes/socks with some yellow on the tires and yellow bar tape. Everything else I have is carbon matte or black... We'll see how it turns out.

Why??? Why the hell not... :-)

Not

ideas to help get it there...
fix that saddle tilt, cut that nub, flatten out those bars, black OR white cages, white bar tape to match the saddle or get black saddle.

Yeah - the white cage isn't supposed to be there... Needed it for a ride yesterday. I'm actually putting a new full carbon handlebar on it tomorrow, I'll flatten the bars then. That will get it down to 16lb 2oz. Not really sure why they sell this bike with a white post and seat... Going to look weird when I put a new black saddle on it. And the nub.... yeah I know... I've only had it for a couple months... Been hesitant to cut it myself.

Strange!

I used the bike in a triathlon last weekend and I actually had it up about 2 cm forward to get my seat angle to almost 77 degrees... Had the bar a little lower too. I just moved it back to my road position. I wondered if anyone would mention that...

And yes - they must be smoking something to put a white post and seat on this bike.
