Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking back over these many photos of bikes, I would say this:

i) lots of hot bikes out there!

ii) lots of stems need to be flipped.

iii) too many decals make a bike look too "busy" and therefore more lukewarm than hot.

iv) I don't think that the ultra-scorching Moots that lots of us like has been dethroned as the reigning king of thermonuclear hot-itude.

The drop is actually more than 1". The seat needs to be raised some yet. Visually is misguided from the picture though. It does have a 7 mm taller head tube than my Look 595, so it will make me a bit more upright though. While on my Look, my back is pretty flat on the drops.

Saddle is not pointed down. It is pretty leveled actually. Funny you spend so much time trying to dissect the picture and can't see the obvious part of the bike raised about 1.5" above the ground on the back As to your other comments, all I can say is that it must be so sad to live with so much jealousy in your life. So sad indeed.

Thanks,
I wanted a Parlee or Isaac but the Parlees were way expensive. Got this frame at a great price and built it up for what the frame retails at. 09 Rival is the biggest surprise though. Amazing stuff. I always wanted an all black bike too. I don't like too many decals or gaudy colors but that is just me.

couch?

Dude, you put your bike on your couch to take its picture? Does it watch tv on there with you on Sunday afternoon?

Nice bike, I have the F2C with DA. I like the red highlights on the F3C.

I can't believe people keep on posting new threads about their bikes, lots of which are hot, and yet they are not posting them here. Bump up once again............

Hi,

I know the original rules were that you weren't supposed to post pictures of your own bike, but I guess those rules went out the window a long time ago.

So:

I like it.

You may be thinking about a different thread (see p1). Regardless, glad to see this one dragged to the top of the forum for some more eye candy!

finally better pictures:

gets me to work FAST.

that blinkie is ziptied to the frame because it's broken off the mounting clip... i have a stealth superflash and white blaze 1watt superflash that don't live on it but are sometimes put on.

the paint does have little retroreflective sparkles in the clear coat but you really can't see them unless you're DIRECTLY behind the source light. and yes, the frame is 'too small' for me.

Fortunately, no. BD is selling the RT800 for $2700. I was able to complete this build, originally with Easton ea50 sl wheels for under $1800. The recently purchased Easton ec70 sl wheels brought it to about $2100 since I was able to sell ea50 wheels.

Yes, you can beat that. Ugly is ugly no matter how much it costs or it saves you. I am not saying I find your tires or bike ugly, but I often see this logic that makes no sense to anyone used: I know it sucks, it is ugly, and I don't like it but it cost me much less
