Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This is the second bike I've seen here with the post like this because of setback reasons.

Sexy bike besides the fact...

The orange Colnago is what many incredibly lame and incredibly nice bikes in this thread wish they could be but never will.

Also the gearing on that would make most riders cry.

Colnago is gorgeous...perfect. I'd like to see more pictures of it...love that orange. Almost picked up a Molteni Master last year and have been regretting not doing it ever since.

To be honest, hate them both. Never been a fan of mustangs, and I don't really have the retro bug. And the pedals, saddle, tape, and garmin probably aren't period correct anyway.
I'm sure you love them though. That's great, but sorry this thread is for outlandish opinions only.

I use the same pedals on my ELOS tommasini from the same era. I think the derosa is a different saddle from hot.

+1 on the bar tape. Not digging that red bar tape. Perhaps it's that shade of red...

Thanks to everyone who voted "hot"

My flickr account link is in my signature, so if anyone wants to take a look at more pics, I have a set entitled "1973 Colnago Super" that has all the details you could want. In the "Drillium and Restoration" set, there are a few pics of some of this bike's drillium parts in production phase as well.

And, yes - she does get her exercise:
