Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For it to be more aesthetically pleasing for me I would like to see:
-black saddle
-black tires (I PERSONALLY dont like colored tires. looks squidish. There have been some bikes that have caught my eye with colored tires though)
-dont need to flip the stem but a smaller degeree would look much better
-hoods are up to high on the bars. unwrap the tape and slide them down to be more level with the top of the handlebars
-newer shifters to eliminate the external cables

thats being pretty picky though. nice bike!

I mentioned that. Sharpen filter on photobucket did that somehow. I need to take a proper pic of it.

Here it is without the sharpen. Think my camera on my phone is effed up - not sharp throughout the image. It might have been dropped a couple times, lol.

Easy fix ... make sure that your camera is focused on the bike and not the garage door ...

I'm sure it's a great frame. But they always remind me of a sway backed nag.

I'm a pro photog (just weddings and portraits - not sure I should admit that though given the quality of these shots). I did focus on the bike but areas around the edges go soft. I need to break out my real gear but I promised to put in a real effort when I did that and frankly just haven't had the time.

Thanks! I'd forgotten my signature just goes to my jalbum though. My portfolio site is www.johnmichaelharris.com. One of the things making me busy right now is re-vamping my website. I have a valpak ad hitting in a few days and I want everything ready for when that hits.

Let me have it. I know the steerer hasn't been cut yet, and I don't like the spacers either.

Looks promising. If that is your final position, you can get rid of some of the spacers if you switch out the -17 degree stem for a -6 degree one.

My guess would be they are extenders on the shortest valved tubes he could find.

Or he took the time to paint his stems??

Looks sick though.

The gold accents on the crank bolts and skewers need to be changed to black. The skewers might be ok in red but I would still go black on both.
