The frame is gorgeous. I would say it's the best color scheme among all the CAAD9 schemes in that year (2008?). Imagine everything except the frame is red: red saddle, bar tape, tire and spokes. The seatpost kind of bugs me. But it's just me.
Ok, here's mine....with the new wheels on I feel it worthy to post to the thread.
Frame: 2009 CAAD9 Optimo, Lightning White
Fork: Six Ultra Carbon Blades
Wheels: ROL Race SL
Tires: Continental GP4000 w/Black Chili
Pedals: Shimano PD-R540 Black
Crank: Shimano 105 Compact, 34/50
Chain: KMC DX-10SC
Rear Cogs: Shimano 105, 12-27
Bottom Bracket: Shimano 105
Front Derailleur: Shimano 105
Rear Derailleur: Shimano 105
Shifters: Shimano 105
Handlebars: 3T Ergonova Team, 40cm
Stem: 3T ARX Team, 110mm -17
Headset: Integrated w/ 25mm alloy top cover
Brakeset: Tektro R580 Dual Pivot
Brakelevers: Shimano 105
Bottle Cages: 2009 Elite Custom Race (red on white)
Saddle: E3 Form Gel (soon to be Selle SMP Stratos)
Seat Post: Cannondale C2 Carbon-wrapped (will be 3T DORICO when it's released)
Computer: Cateye Strada Cadence (soon to be Cateye V2c)
No obligatory white garage door pic, white bikes don't show up well:
I'm still working on bar position so no, no cut steerer yet...eventually. Yes, the saddle is angled up but believe it or not that's where that E3 saddle is the most comfortable...it feels nothing like it looks.
Comments welcome.

The tires are (unfortunately) nearly brand new GP4000s. Next tires maybe red Pro Race3s?
I'm going with black for the saddle....I like the balance.
Thanks! Appreciate the comments.

I haven't posted here either.

I'll probably do a better shot of it at some point soon.
Changed the saddle and lowered stem since.

I really like everything on the bike aside from the pedals. Nice touch on that spacer detail!

Not.
But just replace the spacers with something less messy, loose the headache inducing bartape and flip the stem and it'd be hot.
(It seems as if most Sevens has a stack of spacers and a flipped stem. If I'd get a custom, I'd expect it to have a properly sized headtube)

Agree. Also, get some real pedals, put in big chain ring on front, small in back... and lose the backdrop! After that: HOT.
Not.
