haha I know. It's either love it or hate it. I love it

I agree with you somewhat. I've seen some combinations that looked horrible. I think the Sram crank pulls it off ok.

Every time I see pictures of bikes leaning against sports cars, I cringe.

Ok, guys real question for all the OCP's out there:
What is more acceptable for a non flexible guy like me? More spacers or a "happy" stem?
I realize that no spacers, deep drop and a flat stem is preferred, but that simply isn't possible for moi. SO... what's the next best thing? Right now, I have a carbon fork already cut with just one spacer in, and it's not changeable so I had to buy a 17 degree stem and install it up to get the bars where I need them...

Summary, in this thread:
Presentation > Fit

^^^ Correct.

No, I understand that. I'm just asking the "Presentation Experts" which is better. I realize that neither are considered hot. I just wanted to know which is less offensive...?

I'm no expert, but I thought this thread was "supposed" to be nice pictures of "ideal" bikes - sort of a photography as art thing. I love my bikes but would never post them in this thread, they don't fit the mold. Don't take offense if you don't get the reaction you hope for.
There's no "ideal" bikes, because there's no mold.
The thread is supposed to be about guys posting bikes for comment and critique - bikes of ALL shapes, sizes, colors, and materials. There may be some guidelines if you like, but there's no mold.
Says you. See above - there is no mold.
PS: BTW, butt hurt goes with the territory - if you post an unattractive bike you will get reasonably unpleasant feedback. It doesn't have to be harsh or mean feedback, however.

Now let's critique this guy's bike as an example.
Reasonable feedback: Really nice bike, but those water bottles are lacking. They really ruin the image. You can do better, I'm sure.
Unnecessarily harsh feedback: Those water bottles SUCK! Totally effs up the bike, which was marginal to begin with since it ain't plastic. What the hell were you thinking, moran? You need a loan? Spend a couple of bucks and upgrade the bottles forchristsakes!! Cheap bastid! Oh and your cheap ass fence sucks too!

Why finishing tape at both ends of the wrap? (Yeah, I know that's nit-picky.)
WCS bars and stem (to match the fork and post) would be a nice touch. Those 3T's look a little roughed up anyway.

as for the handlebar, the whole of the bike build came about because i had a spare handlebar. what better way to use up a spare part than to buy dozens of other parts?
