Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ill bite...

The bmc is hot. But id take a better pic, still hot ride. Would benefit if presented with deep wheels, chain on the 11th cog.

The TI, NOT, mostly i dont like the red accents in general. What happened to black wheels. White bar tape. Ti is elegant. The red is out of order on it. Also black (carbon prefered) bottle cages plz. Presentation is good, get the bottles off.

Personally, I find that spacers with a more regular stem is a lot less jarring, compared to the alternative, which looks like someone has slammed the stem/cut the steerer, then realised there's no way in hell it'll fit them like that . In fact, I'm pretty sure thewre have been several bikes posted in here with spacers that have still received a 'hot'.

Too pink.
It's probably red in real life, but still.

It looks good. I'm definitely a fan of Opus bikes for their music theme.

Still, I'm gonna give this a not as there's nothing to really set it apart from any other one.

I put those wheels insteed of the Mavic Akisium 2011, save 500g over the stock one. They are not awesome wheels but at least lighter and they respect my budjet. Good move ???

Hot r Not does not respect your budget. get some deep carbon wheels and proper components

About ten pages ago, I posted a photograph of my Colnago EPS. Got called for busy and bad photography and told to post a new photo. I don't agree that the photo is that bad, but, what the Hell - if the audience thinks so, it is.

Anyway: No better photo of that frame will be coming, as it was written off on Sunday. Cracks around the rear dropout from a low speed crash onto cobblestones.

I'm replacing the frame under insurance with a new 12BK C59. Photos (better, hopefully) to come. I'm hoping the black/red 3T components will work with the plain black/white frame.

Thanks for the feedback though - I haven't owned a good camera for long, and am still learning to use it effectively.

Always a goid move to save 500g on wheels, but this thread isnt practical. Next move would be a nice crankset.

Cheers

Well if you look back at the early pages of this thread, I believe that's how it started (what I was saying above). Not sure why all these crazy staging "rules" came about.

The Opus is interesting but I think that the Opus black on white styling is a personal thing - you either really like it or not. I am not nuts about it but it looks like a decent solid bike.

Wheels are fine - they are (the infamous) Mavic R-SYS.

Damaged the derailleur and right shifter. Both also being replaced.
