As said above, I'd rotate those bars down AND slide the hoods down towards the bar ends. Those are set pretty high up.
What are your thoughts on that saddle? I dont know how i feel about the manufacture recommending you replace it after only a year of use.

the saddle is too thin for my sit bones
i realized this on my last 60k ride
but for shorter rides, it's really comfortable
i had the bars set up like this before

the bar's design is flawed. The drops and area before the hoods are not parallel

yes, 46mm Reynolds
I'm in love with this for the mere fact that I also own that colorway RS. Are those debadged assaults? Funny because I have a set of attacks waiting to go on the bike as well.
I agree with bianchi. That 3t dorico post has always been ugly to me, and the offset doesn't work with me either.

jerrayy,
IMO, those bars are designed to be setup closer to your original setup, but rotated down more [with hoods moved up] so the ramps [the section before hoods] drop down at a slight angle onto flat hoods [ala classic bars], and then the drops are closer to [but not quite] level with the ground.
Still, I'd say this bar shape is pretty out-dated and you would be happier with something else.

This is like asking what saddle we recommend. In the end, it's going to come down to what's comfortable for you. I happen to like traditional bend bars (I have 3T Rotundos), but personal preference varies. Before buying $150+ bars, try a couple inexpensive bars and get a feel for what shape works for you.

Anyhow, the Thomson is pretty nifty, not traditional but not overly compact either...very light but probably too pricey....

if i were you, even if it would be only for the picture i'd change a few things
get rid of the saddle bags, rotate your bars a bit down, slam and maybe flip that stem and lastly line up the valves a six o'clock
but even then it'd look a bit odd because it's a fairly big frame size so...
it's a not for now
