Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is this Orbea not worthy of being Campagnolo equipped? It still looks HOT.

I'm pretty biased, but the Parlee is HOT! And the D-A crank looks good on it....

What size and weight?

You know, I've been riding Shimano since the late 80's (Suntour before that) and I was always happy with it until this version of DA... This lead me to look at other offerings including SRAM... Once I tried Campagnolo my eyes were suddenly open, there is no going back. I only wish 7900 had come out years sooner, but that's another thread ...

I love the Serotta and it is hot but just something wrong with mixing Campagnolo and Shimano...my hang up.

I know. I actually thought about it when I bought those wheels. But they are so nice though. Maybe I can remove the logos.

Go for it, I took them off of mine the day I got them and I think it looks a lot better that way:

like this: not ready for the hot or not thread...
Why?
Very few people like the look of fsa cranks, your bars are rotated upwards (if this is not the case than the angle of the shot is wrong and so is the staging) etc.
I'll say it the way it is most of the bikes here are... well... very expensive so I'm afraid yours is just too stock-ish

Since when is "not" not part of the "hot or not" title.

Otherwise, we ought to have a "hot bikes only" thread.

Just sayin'.

The Tarmac is squarely in the "not" category. But wouldn't this thread be boring without the nots?

There's a difference between not and just not ready because of a lack of effort to make it hot

This. The frame is nice and if properly equipped, it would be a hot bike. But at the moment it's just "meh" rather than hot.

Not hot for me, needs more Spesh logos...

I loved owning and riding a Tarmac, but wouldn't want to be seen on this one...

Thanks! This is a size 53cm. It has a 55cm top tube but the reach and stack fit like a 54cm. Those crazy Swiss and their funky sizing
