to the best of your ability, ignore my crappy apartment. Going to replace the saddle with a white romin evo as soon as I get my shoes.

oh, and I forgot to take off the red stickers. oops.

Here's my starter bike I got last summer for less than $500 new to see if I like cycling, a Diamondback Podium 1. Have done some upgrades and now that I have fallen in love with the black ISM saddle, I will switch back to black bar tape in the near future.
Let me know your thoughts on keeping or removing the wheel decals. I'm not sure.

I'm not a fan of anything but black or skinwall tires generally. The white tires honestly don't look terrible here though. Just wear them out then replace with something black.

I agree about the tires. Black tires and I would also go black romin and black tape.

I would love to see some guy with a sense of humor and money/time on his hands to build up a Denali with Red and Lightweight wheels... May be worthy of a photoshop job.

The Drive Side is Within

That's what I think of as the definition of most of the "nots" in this thread.
When I post my Fuji Team Issue, though, it will be due to lack of funds for anything but a beat up old 105 5500 drivetrain with yellow and blue stickers to ruin the good looks of the carbon weave. And I will well deserve my "nots."

There's a budget hot or not thread, though...

thoughts on saddle? I used to have a tioga twintail spyder, but it wasn't wide enough
I feel like this one isn't aesthetic enough

aesthetically speaking, I dont like it. try Romin evo pro. If you like the tioga but just wasn't wide enough, the Romin might just do it for ya

Please, I just want to be accepted!!!

Adjusted to fit me like my fitted bike. The handlebar is 2 cm higher, even with a flipped stem and no spacers. but it shouldn't be a big deal. Might get an angled stem to compensate

I like this Marin, specifically the colors of the frameset; a better pic/background would do this bike some justice. Personally, I'd change the hoods to black.
You can never go wrong with a Spooky & EDGE/ENVE mix. Great looking build. HOT.
