Thanks! I don't have a white garage door so I picked the whitest backdrop around my residence. I'll try and find a better spot one on of my rides.

bro, da fuq is up with your bar tape? I actually kind of like this though. I think it has potential. Fix your bar tape, move your hoods up a touch, get a black crank, match your stem brand and seatpost brand, stage the bike correctly, and it might be hot. Personally, I have never been a fan of the older caad bikes due to the peculiarly shaped down tube, but it isn't always a deal breaker.

Take the bar tape off to move the hoods...keep practicing on wrapping the tape, watch a few youtube vids...it's easy once you get the hang of it. There's no reason to take it to a shop for that. You can do it!!!

In that case I may take it in to the LBS. When I originally put the hoods on it didn't seem terribly complicated, but after riding it today I can definitely tell my right hood is lower than my left hood, haha. Darn it! The build itself was much easier than I expected. I took all of the parts off of my Tarmac Pro (carbon to aluminum? Yup, that's right) and put them on the CAAD 5 one by one. Did it in about 3 hours or so! I'm proud of myself to say the least.

Nope, the frame is perfectly fine. I just wanted to build a bike without paying more money for different parts. I bought the CAAD5 frame off of craigslist for about 100$ and that was it. I was tired of not really knowing how things worked on my bike so I figured the best way to learn was to build one myself! It worked for the most part, except for the bar tape
