Like cars, I don't see a need to name a bike a female name. Regardless of innuendos using the word "ride", I'm not having sex with it. I prefer to look at those wheel objects of tools for speed and power, not exactly feminine traits.

Don't normally find Masi's hot but that one is smoking hot!!!
I find the curves/lines a bike more appealing/feminine than boats. I know most end up with "boats" as wife but I'm holding off as long as I can!

I don't share my bikes with my women, but I do invite them in my car, truck, & probably my boat if in had one.
You could say I invest more time on my bikes, than women.
Women come & go(months @ a time), bikes stay for a solid 5 years or more, some longer.

everything about it is hot. but for me personally, the Venge frame is the ugliest bike on the market not named Shiv. I just don't like how it the Venge looks aesthetically. full disclosure - my bike is an s-works SL3 tarmac, so its not an anti-specialized thing

I'll go against the grain here... Hot!
I don't get the Venge hate here in the 41?
Ugliest frame... I say that goes to the Dogma.
(Fork included)
Edit:
I'd love to own a Venge but its just not practical for me, & the type or riding I do/local terrain.
Too much climbing to really enjoy the aero benefits.

I don't want to speak for him, but seeing that his stem is slammed he probably went with a smaller frame to get the drop that he is looking for (a larger frame for a given model would have a longer headtube). It is common among the pro ranks to see similar setups for the same reason.

The stem is a 130mm. A lot of it is proportions (shorter legs and longer torso). The longer stem allows me to be just forward of the front axle when sprinting which is my preferred position, it also allows me to be fairly flat and stretched out while riding the hoods (I spend about 99% of my time on the hoods) and really only go into the drops while sprinting (just my style)
To be honest the seat is not set up exactly perfect and has to come up a little. When putting together the build I wanted a smaller frameset so that it is uber stiff so ultimately went down one frame size. The BMC I came off of was a 55. I have found the Monolink system to be a little different on setup as well as having switch ed from 172.5 - 170mm cranks.

Thanks for the clarification. BTW I plan on following your lead and spend more time in the weight room this fall / winter. I used to do heavy squats ( 400 lbs +) regularly when I was younger but have done virtually no weight work on my lower body for many years now ( I still hit the gym several times a week but upper body and abs only) . Will try to maximize my focus on hamstrings, calves and gluts with secondary focus on quads. Will be interesting to see how my body responds to squatting again. Cheers.

When you ultimately look at it (IMHO) a sprinters bike is designed for that last few hundred meters. When it is a little more compact it allows you to be right over the crank in delivering power. A climbers pedal stroke being that it is at lower rpm (80 vs. 120) is more of an out and down stroke versus a more vertical stroke (sprint). A compact setup also allows you to be up and off the saddle to sprint and back down without a lot of movement to go back onto the seat.
