Definitely HOT. Exactly how a bike is supposed to be...stealthy and fast looking...Can't tell if the gold chain is trying to match the cabling or what, but I would've left the chain silver or black. Most minor of quibbles since you'll replace the chain eventually anyhow. What did this frameset weigh in at?

So it is

That's a very nice weight! I can't wait to upgrade from my supersix to a frame that is lighter. An evo has been on my radar for a while but I now have a couple others in mind and now the guru could be put on my list as well. I may PM you for further details.

Hi,
How's everyone been?
I haven't even been lurking on this thread as I've had to parse my online time between more and more sites and topics. I recently had to hunker down and put together a bike that I'd been promising to assemble for almost a year. I'm the original owner of the frame and the parts were mostly on my TT bikes of years past.
1990 Stowe Triad with 2005 Campagnolo Chorus-10 components:

Steel is real:

Paint is original and headset, stem, and bars are from the original build. Rest of it is a mash of "modern" and vintage stuff.
BTW, I am not typically a fan of Guru bikes but @Herbie53 Guru is HOT.

Both the Feather and Guru are ridiculously hot. The Feather is one of the sweetest steelies I've ever seen. That Guru may just be the "perfect" bike. Alas, after seeing those two beauties, I'm going home to euthanize my bikes and start over.

Thanks, LAJ.
Thanks for the 'hot.' Stowe custom painted the Silca pump and a friend gave me the Campagnolo metal pump head. The pump is on there for show since Silca pumps were prone to breaking if you actually used them.
The seat post is an early 1980s SunTour Superbe Pro model that is a nod to the age of the frame and has (arguably) the best clamp design of all time.
Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Thank you, rjones28.
Think you've watched Breaking Away one too many times.
(Though the Cinzano guy probably did use a Silca pump in that scene.)
Appreciate the kind words.
See my seat post comment above.
BTW, I built this back up with a minimum of new parts. The list of new parts is:
1) Fizik handlebar tape
2) Jagwire Shift cable housing
3) Campagnolo front and rear cable housing (new, but left over from another build)
3) Omni braze-on derailleur adapter clamp
Everything else is used, including tubes (with patches), tires, and cables.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.
