Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'd take it a step further and say that it's not even the number of decals but how visually distracting they are. The frame is not so bad, but the wheel decals are distracting as hell.

Exactly!
12 decals/logos per wheel is a bit extreme.
Giant is know to go overboard on decals, but this one is fine.

I like the bike, but the wheels are far too busy.

Very well...biggest limiting factor is the rider. Plenty stiff for being Giant's entry level carbon. A bit heavy, but then again, so am I.

Apologies for the low-light setting. I'll take better photos at some point. Have at it.

Needs -17° stem for proper hotness, but dang, most beautiful free frame I've ever seen!

Not quite the 700th.

I think the Giant is Hot as well. I don't even mind the wheel logos, but then I've always been on the fringe with that opinion.

I like loud logos too, especially when they are in cursive

I'm sure others have mentioned, but a lot of mechanics say that proper installment requires a spacer above the stem. I'm not a mechanic though.

Oh wooohooo we hit 700 pages.

It's acceptable to use a 5mm or smaller spacer.

Depends on the headset...cannondale says no spacers...the "rules" say if one must be used a 5mm is acceptable.

Purple Merckx is so damn sexy!

There is like 20mm, if it was 5mm or less, it would be OK. The bars don't do it for me, NOT hot.

As this thread is entitled "Hot r Not", I'll say this qualifies as Hot! Very cool, and although not my taste in bedroom art, it's definitely one I can appreciate!
