Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

HOT Retro bike. I usually like my Retro bikes with DT shifters, but this one looks very well done.

Thanks. And to think I was very close to sending the frameset out to get custom painted. But I'm keeping it the way it is.

Thank you.
Although the OT cranksets require proprietary tools for install/removal, nothing difficult about it. I actually posted up a thread here showing how I was able to install it with and without its preload ring.

Tarmac is hot until you see the DeRosa. Love the De Rosa but GREEN bartape?? Really? It' looks really good in black.

I don't know, looking back, that's got to be one of the best looking Tarmac's on here. Very niiiiiiice.

Hot. Have you considered double wrapping the bar tape with black to it's sorta pin-stripped with black and green.

Thanks. I thought about the Handlebra leather bar tape in black but I really like the Fizik apple green tape I had on the previous handlebar.

I was thinking largely black with literally like 1 mm stripe of green. I think pure green bars will be too much but hey, it's your bike .

Not.

Not a fan of the handle bars or seat post and just too generic in general for my liking.

One of my all time favorite bikes!!! Seeing this picture confirms that I will be going with a black chain also. So HOT

This iteration of the DeRosa, I like gumwalls and I like green accents, but not at the same time.

Similar thoughts as gc3. I've recently come to really like gum wall tires, however, they look best on all black rims, i.e. carbon. Put on some all black tires and it will be hot. For now it's a Not for me.

Race ready set up. (excuse the saddle bag - took this during a ride) Only other thing needed is a Sram YAW derailleur to eliminate some of the chain rub. Other than that everything is on point.

Everything is done right on that cervelo, the angle of the stem fits that top tube well, stem is slammed, deep dish carbon wheels, staging is good, but there is just something about it that makes it Luke warm for me and I don't know what it is. Might just be the geometry of the frame, I don't know. I still like it a lot, but its not super hot for me. I really want to give it a Hot though

De Rosa will always be hot.

Cannondale needs the 52 to be the same color as the Rail. Still hot.

Cervelo is Hot. My bet is the short leg/long torso look of the set-up, Bianchi10.
