Not exactly, I want a cyclocross bike too and figured all the old parts from this one will mean I just need to find a decent frame so it works out. But yeah :)

I'd love to ... throw a 105 crank on there.
The before 'n after pics you can see, it was "mostly" a 105 bike... I replaced the FSA brake calipers with 105, and added 105 pedals ... I donno what to do with the cranks since, it's BB30 ... |

The Rotor crank SpeshulEd is a great option, and probably what I'd go for. That said, there are a few good BB30 adapters that would allow you to use a Shimano crankset with no issues or penalty.
LOL, I wonder which one is better ... https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/i...Xj72mWNvSMx-QA http://www.praxiscycles.com/wp-conte...cematic-01.jpg |

Just thought someone reading this thread might like to know that the weight difference between Shimano 5600 Group and Ulegra 6800 Group was about 181 grams or .4lbs. I kinda thought it would be a little more, but still not too bad. (group excludes wheel hubs).

LOL, I wonder which one is better ... BOTTOM BRACKET ADAPTERS |
I don't have any experience with BB30 adapters, but some time ago I was thinking of getting a BB30 frame and running it with a Hollowtech II crankset, and those KCNC adapters seemed like the most straightforward and most effective option out there.

I'll be posting a thread of a lot of detailed picts with all my current upgrades.
Upgrades consist of: Dura Ace 7900 Rear Derailleur Dura Ace 7900 Shifters Alligator Ilink cables (HUGE thanks goes out to @primov8 for sending them to me) Dura Ace 7900 11-28 Cassette Lizardskins 1.8 race tape (LOVE LOVE LOVE this tape!) Ritchey Logic Curve UD carbon bars (I REALLY like the new shape coming from the Ergo Superlogic bars I had. 1 thing I will have to get used to is the non over-sized top bar that the Logic curve bars lack that the superlogic bars had.) http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...r/IMG_5163.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...r/IMG_5215.jpg |

Now that is a awesome looking cdale. Hot for sure bianchi!! Is this the frame your looking to replace?
Yes, I'm hoping to sell this frame off so I can get my Evo. Problem is I'm very specific with wanting a 2 year old, popular frame and color (Black and white). Its been tough to find. But, I'll be patient since I have this little Gem! |
Looking great still @bianchi10
