I can't believe that Trek isn't getting ripped apart. What happened to this thread?

Its a Not for me. As for the frame itself, I like the geometry better than most Trek's I see. As for the bike as a whole, I dont like it much, but that is honestly just a matter of taste. I dont find older bikes to be appealing (I realize this isn't considered an OLD bike). I dont like the shape of the saddle, angle of the stem or the shape of the bars. I'm on the fence with the crankset/rings. Dont know if I'd rather see an all black crank/rings or all silver crank/rings. Either way, I dont like the split black and silver crank/ring.
All in my opinion of course

The frame looks odd cuz its so large, but at the same time, I know how freakishly tall you are, so I'll give it a hot.

some aero wheels would have been cherry. It was an upgrade from my first mountain bike.
Speaking of which, I had to get rid of it when someone told me it's what wonder woman would ride. Unfortunately, back then, we didn't have mods to save us from harsh criticism

Thanks K11. Yeah the Red is visible on the Stem/Spacers, Seat Clamp, Hubs, Ceramic Bottom Bracket and then whatever accents are on the Handlebars and Sram crank. I think it is just enough to "Pop" as you say without making it confusing. (When I first built the bike up, I used the wheels from my SL Club, and the tires are Red-Walled. People on this thread said it looked like I was going for a McDonalds sponsorship. Lol)
In addition to the red hubs on the wheels, those C38's are awesome. At like 1350 grams for the pair for just around a grand, they definitely compete against much more expensive wheels.

I'm doing it wrong.
