Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It was more of a why did you choose that over any more.. conventional stem. Weight and beefy I guess?

Oh, sorry I misread your post. It came on the bike - I bought it build up as is. If I was building it from a frameset, I probably would have stuck w/ conventional alu bars + stem.

Is that the right seat-post setup for that bike?
It looks a little funny, but other than that...

HOT! By the way, what did you mean specifically? The angle? I prefer the nose tilted very slightly up, p.s. I'm mostly legs.

Like the bike, like the components, but the white wheels are a little too far. maybe a black saddle and black tape would help a little.

No, the seat tube to the seat post looks off.
Looks like you should have a wider seat post.

If you like it that's all that counts, I don't like any two-tone tape not just picking on yours.

Oh, that's because it's an aero seat tube, but it runs a standard 27.2 seatpost.

BMC = hot in my book.
PS: I envy your weather. It's in the 70s here (we consider that "warm") but definitely no palm trees.
