Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

FIFY

know what i mean..kiddo..
I know about your views in your other thread I think i messed up!..please help., and I know you'll defend your bike tooth and nail.

Still doesn't change the fact that some of us don't see your bike with rose-colored glasses like you do. If it's a nice bike for you then good, but you can't tell us to like it if we don't.

This thread isn't the "Defend your not-so-hot bike if we say it ain't so..."

My feelings aren't hurt, but the wife's on the other hand.. . She's about 5'4", which is the reason for the slight rise. We're working on the pedals..lol.

Perhaps the budget thread would be more appropriate, the build totals less than $800.00.

I'm not trying to be mean. This thread is about pure fashion, not function. It's a nice bike, don't get me wrong, it's just not hot.

Huh? why would a shorter person need a rise? The frame already looks too big so you should slam the stem to get it closer to to what a normal position would be on a smaller bike
