Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The Cannondale would be a neat looking bike without all the color matched crap. I like the blue on the frame but as it sits, definitely not.

All hot, except the bars. But I think the stem is perfect.

How do you like that saddle? I've been trying to get my hands on one to put on my Holdsworth I'm refurbishing to be like-new.

Are the drops actually comfortable angled like that? Seems to me that Deda Newton Deep would have as much effective drop, but provide a much better wrist angle.

As a fellow Merlin rider, I really like this. As a fellow Campy rider, I really like this. As some one who used those Scott drop-in bars in about 1991, I really like this.

As a result of spinal stenosis I cannot bend over very far and come at the bars from a slight upward angle, this puts the bottom of the drops perfectly in-line with my wrists and is very comfortable. I never ride in the front of the drops, it's just not a good spot and because of my forced more upright posture I hit the ergo part of the bars with a wrist twist that is unnatural.

So since I only ride on top, on the hoods, or on the bottom of the drops, the angles seem perfect.
