Not if you plan to race. And if i could drive an r18 on the road i'd choose it over the aventador too. Every single hip hop artist around here has a matt black lambo, ferrari asto etc.

Lamborghini is the official "new money" car, they have an aire of unaophistication that I can't describe. I'd still take one, though, I'm not above that.

Sure, it would be uniquely flashy to have, but why would one drive an LMP car anywhere but a closed course?

I think lsberrios just thinks of contrary things to say. I've owned cars that were meant for the street that I didn't want to drive on the street. Couldn't imagine an r18 or similar. It couldn't be done.

Do you ride both bike (presumably not at the same time)?
Do you enjoy both of them?
Then who cares what others think.
BTW... my new bike is matt black, so when I post pictures I expect people to say it's just another...
It's all in fun.

About my bikes. One of the things I was trying to show with those pics is the difference between the Roubaix fit and the TCR fit. I'm sure the pics don't really show it well, but even though both are setup pretty aggressively (at least for me) the fit on the Roubaix is quite different and it feels so with a totally different riding experience. This is something almost everybody knows but sometimes it's cool to see it back to back.
As for riding both, yes I do. In fact, the Roubaix probably gets ridden more since it spends a lot of time on the trainer where I work out about 3-4 times a week. If it rains then it goes out as well. Today I did a few hours in the rain but the shifting was terrible so brought it back and rode it on the trainer until I +/- figured out the shifting issues.
The TCR goes out when it's sunny. The ride is sublime and I could not think of any bike that could ride better. I guess ignorance is bliss

My current/old bike is a Madone 4.6c and a rolling billboard, so this time I wanted a bike that was not as flashy. You're lucky to have a N+1 road bike but honestly i never considered keeping the Madone. It's too nice and I rather take the money for something different.

Haven't you kept up?
We're not allowed to judge on such things any more.
Nor, details like colour coordination, bar or stem angles, frame colour, tire mismatching, never mind alignment of labels with valve stems, number of spacers, material from which either the frame or wheels are made from, the realative position of the saddle to bars or any other aspects that might lead us to believe a bike is "hot" or "not" for our personal taste.
And, whatever you do, if you find it neccessary to declare a bike as "not", for the love of god, don't tell the post why.
These are "the new rules" of Bikeforum's Hot or Not.
Have I missed any?

My budget / main stallion. It's a 2014 Trek Madone 2.1. She rides smooth and picks up nicely, although, I have yet to test anything lighter than her.
Tell me how I can make her hot / hotter.

Yeah, I wanted to take it on my driveway facing the woods across my street, but I don't have anything that will stand it upright without obscuring the bike.

You might also just try propping it up against the other side of the mailbox, and taking the picture from a kneeling or squatting position, so that you're looking at it straight instead of down on it. Also, either crop the picture or get closer so it fills the frame.
