Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I bought a Super Six Evo 105. Only mods so far are a carbon seat post, delete reflectors and dork disk.

The way Cannondale forks taper is so sexy. And my hat is off to Cannondale for not making it disgusting flat black but gloss the way a fine vehicle should be. Pedals gotta go tho.

I like that this bike says Cannondale only six times. There was a different model, one with lime green, posted a few weeks ago that said Cannondale on the frame something like thirteen times.

I'm really looking forward to getting a CAADX this spring.

First bike I bought was after working in a bike shop for a while. This was like 4 years ago and I got a Giant Defy 1. It really was a terribly ugly bike, and it had 22 instances of "Giant" on it. So glad Giant's newer offering are more toned down in the logo department.

It's too bad bikes aren't sod in primer, so the buyer could have his own paint scheme applied & then have decals made to match.

Funny thing, other than that, this bike is almost perfectly unattractive - a collection of characteristics that I do not prefer (color scheme, bowed top tube, flat saddle, dull black chain wheels, stumpy stem and pedals) - but it seems nevertheless very well put together, and I wouldn't be surprised if it got plenty of "hots."

Very nice - make sure to post this in your other thread to close the loop. Did the bike come with the Mavic wheels or did you upgrade?

Thanks, it came with them. No upgrades, have some clipless pedals being shipped, and I also took off the reflectors but didn't feel like going to take another picture.

Is that a long cage derailleur? What gearing is the cassette?

I like that it is not flat black. The orange is sweet!

As far as the cage derailleur, I'm pretty new so not really sure. However from googling, I would think yes. It is 50/34T.

Looks like a 11-32 cassette.

I'd suggest taking the wheel reflectors off at a minimum.

The red cages just don't look right to me, otherwise nice bike.

Despite being out of focus, i'd say it's pretty hot.
