But yeah, non hi mod frame, heavy cranks, wheels, saddle, seatpost, bars, and pedals. I could get it under UCI weight limit pretty easily, but I just don't feel like spending the money on it. I like the way it fits and rides now, so I'm just gonna leave it at 7,2.

The bike itself is HOT. The tires though, that just kills it. This whole gumwall thing, man I hope it ends soon. Kind of like how most of you hope the all black/matte black thing is over soon. That is how I feel about gumwalls.

The gumwall thing is the color of the silk and latex coating. I've been riding them that way since about 1979 - I don't expect it to end soon. It is the black sidewalls that are the recent trend. Typically because the new techniques that vulcanize rubber into the case which normally makes a more durable, but less supple (not as good riding) tire.

Noob here, but I thought mullet style wheels (AKA lower profile in the front, deeper section in the back) were very hot and in? I'm not quite sure what benefit they provide, but as you guys stated earlier this is about aesthetics, not so much function. Cycledogg says no, though.

Smaller in front allows for better handling in both wind and turns. Wind has less turbulent effect on the rear.

There is a benefit to a "deeper" section rear than front wheel. The "deeper" the rim section the more aerodynamic it typically is BUT at the cost of a bit more weight and more importantly handling in cross winds. By having a more shallow section front wheel you can still have decent handling characteristics in cross winds while reaping the aero benefit of a deep rear section.

I think that bike is hot for what it is. Besides, it has a level top tube, stem parallel with the top tube and isn't flat black. 3/4 of the battle is won right there.
