Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cyclists and photographers are birds of a feather - take full credit for the successes, but blame poor results on the gear!

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words. X-LinkedRider, to each his own. Seriously, everyone has different tastes in bike aesthetics. If that weren't the case, this thread and BF would be awfully boring.

This is true. The Red White Blue on your new rig is magnificent as well. It's just very easy to get caught up in that full color scheme of that Raptor. They are all 10x anything I'll be riding for a while. Great job again with the new frame cleave.

The wheels are Mavic Kysrium SL Premiums & the spokes are powdercoated. It is a PITA to do however because you have to strip the paint off of them before you powdercoat them. As a side note, surprisingly, it only added 18 grams to the wheelset.

My Indy Fab Ti, great ride. I'm considering rebuilding it with a 10 speed Record group I have lying around, what do you think? My wheel selection would shrink, but I do
love me some Campy.
