Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks!
Normally I'd agree about the tires, and I have a set of polished silver Fiamme rims and good tubulars, but they're from my old track bike and are narrow 19c.
My other bike needs tires more right now, eyeing up 27" x 1 Panaracers with the gumwalls.
Currently rewrapping 2500 mile cloth tape, let's say I'm frugal.
Same cloth Tressostar as Chrome bike, but this is blue.

Paramount is the King Schwinn, no doubt.
This one was made in Japan and is actually "Schwinn Approved" for whatever that means.
Still, was a thrift store find, turned the corner and there's an all chrome Schwinn! Paramount or not, I'm buying it unless it's got a ridiculous price tag (it didn't)
The C&V guys probably know way more about it, but I think it was built by Nishiki?
All the components are upgraded, the bike is an '81, the parts date 82-86 ish? All good stuff though, as it sits it weighs a hair over 24lbs. Nice all day sport tour geometry, good around town bike.

How do you like all the Oval stuff? Was just looking at a Talon that had all Oval and wondered how it faired.

I know a bunch will probably not approve the tires but they stick like glue and I like them, this is my new frame.

2016 LaMere Carbon 54CM
Sram Force 22
Sram Red crank
Praxi rings 52/36
Fizik Arione Saddle
LaMere carbon seat post
Salsa 110MM Stem 7degree drop
HED Jet 6+ wheels, (Black edition)
Vittoria open corsa g+ tires
I do need new bar tape, will be going back to black along with the black version of the Arione saddle

Yes only 10 speed. I prefer the hoods of the 7900 vs the 9000. I've ridden my buddies bike several times which has 9000 11 speed and I hate the ergonomics of them. I'm good with my 10 speed. They are slightly up from flat as well.

I didn't even mention that the valve placement was off a tiny bit.

Nice bike, but those tires?

I am surprised you didn't like the 11speed shifters better. I hate 7900 shifters.

Im oaky with the 60 Grams addition as im only 58.1 Kg at 5" 10, so im light enough with the total bike weight(65.44 Kg)

The saddle angle on that Slice makes me think that you should change the name to Slide.

Lmao I re-adjusted it afterwards, when riding it felt fine but after looking at it I put it up 4 degrees:3
So now it only tilts down at 3.8 Degrees which feels extremely comfortable on my group rides now
It was at 9.5 Degrees down, which was to low as you see on the photo>.>

Well can't win with everyone!
A lot of people here like it as its unique in a sense lol, I'm extremely flexible so the angle doesn't bother me, it actually feels more comfortable than my Cannondale Caad 8 road bike; at least for me!(:
