Advocatus Diaboli
It is. I wanted to get some pics up as the Olympics and the vids online don't do the frame justice. The color change is far more gradual than the vids show. Rode a century this weekend in the hot humid South East. The frame was orange or some mix orange/yellow (as in the pic) far longer than I expected.

^^^ Hot.
Why isn't the top tube decal visible in the first photo? I think that it looks much better without, in any event.

I removed them on both sides, the first picture is more recent, the others were before removal. Agreed it looks way better! I may take all the decals off completely

If that was my bike, I'd search for some vintage Merlin decals, or have some replicated at a local print shop.

Very interesting concept, but so far, a "not." The frame makes everything else look all chunky. Excess stem and 40mm(?) rims don't help, but a cushion-y saddle would make it more amusing. Maybe it looks better in sunlight, but red bar tape and red stripe tires might improve things.

Thanks pretty much what was in the back of my head. Rims are off of my norco it'll probably only ever have the american classic aluminum on them IRL. Ive been playing around with height of bars to try to get it dial in, once I've decided, ill get the excess will be cut. I may also go for a less beefy stem in the future.

A year or so later, I actually found some new-old-sock OEM decals on ebay from a guy in Italy. There's minor differences with the ones my local shop made, and I plan to have a duplicate set of the OEM decals made for posterity and then put them on the bike.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the positive comments. I have carbon bikes but I got this in 2009 when I was 16 and it's like my child. I am confident I will never get rid of it. I ride it wayyyyy more than any of my other bikes too. Ti and a mechanical groupset is just soothing to me.
And after 7 years it still looks completely brand new! If I ever quit riding this frame is just getting mounted on my wall as art.
