Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's the hover bar that Spesh uses on the Roubaix that makes it look off.

The bike is great and I am sure rides incredible but I would go for another set of wheels in this case. Maybe Lighweights ?

The Boras are tubular, as are these Mad Fibers. I have a set of Reynolds Aero's that are clinchers, but I haven't ridden clinchers for a long while. Next set are going to be either Lightweights or Reynolds RZR's.

Thanks. And I did. Also, you'll get to see more of it soon, as I'm actually riding it more now that I'm tinkering with the idea of selling my Vias.

46. I currently have their Aero 46 clinchers, which is as much as I can handle when I take my bikes to the Big Island (Hawaii) with the tradewinds.

Not bad at all. The frame has nice lines and real potential. A different bar configuration and nicer wheels would make it pop.

Why thank you good sir. I was thinking about getting a new bike all together, but decided to change out the horrid white bar tape and white tires and now am looking into a new saddle and wheel set.

My first road bike ever was a Z85 in July 23, 2012. Good bike to get a bunch of miles in. The bike will change appearance with time as you get stronger and ride longer. Now I am on my 8th bike and it just keeps getting better

That's awesome. Yeah, new and shiny things always catch my eye, but I bought this bike new in 2012 and immediately got orders to be stationed overseas and just recently have come back so the bike is essentially new. I have just recently gotten big into riding it and love it more and more after every ride. Maybe something fancy later on, but this thread has given me some really good ideas and inspiration to upgrade this baby.

Building this up for the lady, what do you guys think? Pretty sweet for her first bike. Easing her into foot retention.

Got to show mine off while i'm at it!
