Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

In regards to the seat angle, I think gran Fondo was just looking at the picture at a weird angle. You can see it is much straighter than that other picture showed.
Bike looks great. Understated but not too stealth. -1 for the helmet visor though

I spent 20 minutes trying to find something to hold up the bike that wouldn't steal vision from the shot. I was so mad I couldn't find a rock. But that is no excuse for the visor We have a lot of bugs here.

GC3's Parlee doesn't need me saying it is hot. Seems to be the general consensus.

That Duratec is a little difficult to tell with the cockpit completely cutoff. What shifters do you have? You bothered to stage the photo and then missed half the bike? Weird. But the bike seems ok in the mean time. The wheels are nice.

[Edit] Ok, I realized it was BF cuting off the picture. I went to the full pic link. It's a nice looking bike. I think it's hot other than the crankset.

Not, but it has potential:

-fix saddle angle, it's pointing down
-strip those awful reynold stickers off the rims
-proper drivetrain config
-stand the bike up more vertically - it looks like it's practically laying down against that garage door

Personal preference: the logos on the frame look terrible. Reminds me of this:

Posted this ~ 18 months ago. Lost some weight and now stands at 14.3 lbs. Not bad for a Ti frame. Flame away

Nice - I'd ask you how you like the rims, but I can see that you haven't ridden them much yet! (I just built a set with the Archetypes, but I haven't been able to get outside with them yet.)

That's hot.

Would look even better with black chainrings, but now I'm nitpicking.

Generally hot. Love Indy Fabs

That has to be one of the longest seatposts ever made... makes the build feel a bit unbalanced.

Yeah, I've ridden literally about 4 miles on them so far. I've got new Swiss Stop green pads in the hopes of preserving the ano a little but I'm not optimistic. I'm slightly wishing I'd gone for the grey version as I think they might age more gracefully.

Cheers (assuming you meant my bike). They actually are black, something about the way they've caught the light has made them look greyer than they really are.

Agree on the relative hotness of this Scott (even though it isn't gray-black), disagree on the black rings in this case.

Try SwissStop black, they are gentler on rims than the green version, and they brake really well too.

And yes, I did mean your bike
