Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think that any hate it (and other Specialized models) gets is because of the 'pooping dog' look that some size frames exhibit; Whoooshie's bike doesn't suffer from that, though. Hot.

What size is the Guru? And how tall are you?
I am 6' and the GURU frame is a 56 traditional geometry. At size 58 (next size up), the seat tube would have swallowed the seatpost in its entirety due to my body proportions.

They are again ROTOR chainrings (flamesuit on). It was the only way to make that ugly crank tolerable.

That Opus frame looks a lot like the Guru Flite frame. I suspect both are sourcing from the same place.

Never mind.. the Flite has an internal rear brake cable. Maybe they are just distant Canadian cousins.

I think Guru still build their frames in Montréal but it's not the case of Opus. The company is base in Montréal but their bike are made somewhere in asia, like most of our bikes.

VERY hot Guru !!!

Guru builds their custom/high end in Canada. Mine is/was (I broke it) a Flite. It's made in Taiwan.

I liked it enough that I am replacing it and adding a Photon R.
