Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Love the wireless setup

White tape for sure.

Semi-HOT.

You know what they say about mopeds, fat chicks, and Treks. I can't wait for the responses in this thread when I post the completed build.
Hey, you'll at least get a response. I'm pretty sure when I posted mine it was just ignored like it never existed. I guess that means it is neither hot nor not so I shouldn't be too terribly upset.

My sister loved Barney. I couldn't stand it. I don't think it's around, but what do I know... I'd rather watch Game of Thrones or Homeland... not quite the same demographic that Barney was aiming for.

But be warned... when things get tense in BF, I'm just going to start posting Barney videos...

Getting there. Need to stage better though. Remove that bag, get it in front of a white background (or at least something solid color). Also, the red bar tape... go black... it looks like it's not an exact match to the frame, which IMO, is a distraction.

I actually replaced the whole bike earlier this year.

Not!?

I actually don't mind it. We will see once it is completely built though.

NOT
but I thought that's what you wanted. Staged in a manner similar to a sales brochure. You know remove any indication that someone actually rides the bike.

My current ride is two pages back in this thread. It's probably meh to your keen eye I'm sure, but I like it. Go ahead pick apart my staging, alignment of my valve stems and cleanliness of the chain.. There's also a chip in my in one of my cages... it happened while actually riding it! Don't forget to point that out.

It's going to be a 58cm so the top tube will have a huge slope like a dog taking a ****. You'll love it!

I have the stock picture of my evo hanging up in my office from when I was waiting for it to arrive...the wheels aren't properly centered. Drives me nuts every time I look at it. Haha.

Obviously, you have to put me in the "former Thomson setback post user" as well...highly functional, but it works aesthetically on a rare occasion...

Thomson must always be accompanied by Thomson to get a hot! I like that bike though. What's up with the enve fork? That's stock?

I like the aesthetic of a lot of the new trek frames. Not that i would buy one, but If you hate a trek for the sole reason of it being a trek, shouldn't you pretty much hate all of the big names.
