Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Me? He can ban me. I don't care. I would like him to point out where I insulted or mistreated anyone though.

im fine with slammed, but once the drops go below the top of the wheel, it looks funny to me. I can give a pass on the right vintage track bike though.

So is a kinder gentler HrN better than no HrN? I personally think so, but can see how it's debatable. I don't really care to see the debate played out here over and over and over. Time for another bike pic...

Seeing as no one has been disrespectful to the owner of the bike, yet we've still been treated to a 'not in my house' lecture, it certainly does seem that we're not able to express differing views.

"Well, that bike sucks".

NO NO NO.

Watch how easily it can be transformed into something positive.

"Well, that bike positively sucks".

See?

Anyway, here is the final result. That'll be my last post of it.

Woot! I was gone for a few days and missed the re-grand opening! Time to catch up. And a nice bike to do it with. HOT. Thanks Gus, for taking our advice. One thing though... your valves should be at 6 o'clock. One is at 5:58 and the other is at 6:04. You really should fix that next time...

Not...

First, you gotta stage her correctly. Drive side, lose the bottles, and solid background, like a white garage door (though, I don't think your background is so crazy that we would ding your bike).

Lastly, it was not my intention to upset anyone, so in case I did, I shall leave you with this:

The one change I would make here is that you issue a not kindly post a picture of your bike....

Sorry for the link.......this forum won't let me post pics now......it just gives me an error.....
Not... I like the frame, but the rest of the setup is killing it for me. My suggestions: stem has to go, white tape, white saddle, white cages and lose those tires. Saw your follow up post about the tires, and that's reasonable. Don't want to waste money. But aesthetically, the aforementioned suggestions would probably give this a hot in my bike. Also, next time, move the bike 6 feet to the right and take the pic in front of the garage door.

And in case I have offended, anyone, I leave you with this:

That ol thing? Thanks WhyFi. It's 5 years old, or so. Many many Rando miles, and races, under it's belt. I think it's still a great crit bike, though I used it for the crappy races that are part dirt we have here, as well.
