Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Some mango tape would be go really well with that bike, instead of the blue.

Too much orange. The blue is matched to our team kits (as is the orange).

It's mine, but not in my possession yet, so I can't take my own pictures. I'll have it two weeks from today...
09 caad 9
Record carbon shifters and carbon front derauiller
Chorus carbon rear derauiller and carbon crank
keo carbon blades
ritchey carbon seat post, stem, handlebars
some kinda fancy wheels that I can't remember...

Yeah, I may have called something the wrong name or forgot something important...it's my first "real" bike and I'm still bike stupid. Forgive me, I'll do better next time.

Well that sucks. It shouldn't have been upside down....I really wasn't ready to let the world know that my bike can defy gravity. I was going to wait until my first race to show off that feature.

It is. The first build suffered RD hanger snappage, resulting in much damage to components and frame. Had it blasted and powdered. @slowjamz, I've done all black before, in fact, this frame used to wear all black. Red is a change. They were out of black cages, so oddly, that is what turned the build to red.

It's a medium size. Unfortunately Yeti doesn't make the cross bike anymore. It really is a great riding bike.

Not due to blue tape and website wheel logos. But I would borrow it for tailgating at U of I.

I don't mind the blue tape (it is the complementary color to orange, after all) and the website logos get a pass seeing as it's his website (and his stuff is shipped freaky fast).

Okay, my first post in this thread. Let me see if I understand the "rules":

Colnago = HOT, but need to fix the crank angle and lose the space above the stem, your valves are not at 6 o'clock (in this picture they are, but weren't in the first), and having a computer on top of the stem is apparently gauche. How'd I do? But still, it's a Colnago, so again, HOT!

In all seriousness, that bike is hot, and I love the paint job.

Just got back from South Lake Shore Country Club (round trip 40 miles) with my Cinelli and it is super for a 20 year old bike!

We test a lot of rims and other components. If you look closely the rims are mismatched and are actually from two different carbon factories - same story for the hubs. To keep everything on the DL we brand every rim/part with our logo (web address) which saves me from answering a lot of questions I don't want to answer.

The colours are our team colours.
