Nice, bike. Maybe start a thread that says here's my bike; looking for suggestions for cable management. 1 or 2 pics of a well staged bike with no accessories on it would be a better post for "Hot or Not"

+1, and I've never offered an opinion on anything in this thread.

They look stupid.
Honestly, between the light, the balls, the stem cap, the messed up cables, the bad photos, the bad background and the general not-hotness of the bike, I think this is a joke posting. I mean, how could anyone in their right mind truly think that bike is hot?

How she closed out 2017 with the stock aero handlebars. New cockpit planned for the spring:
Deda Supperleggera and black Fizik Performance bar tape.

I love the black-and-gray Giant TCR (which could well be the kiss of death) but I agree it needs some tape .... how about in gunmetal gray? I have Deda tape in both silver and gray and either would work to my eye.
I don't mind the discs (in fact would love to build another disc bike) and the Dura-Ace crank perfectly matches the paint.

Needs a red saddle, then it would flow.

The graphics are a fluoro red, and closest tape i could match this was Specialized Rocket Red Roubaix tape. I knew i wanted to upgrade the handlebars so they would be rewrapped at some point anyways, but was tapped out at the time i installed the groupset and a $200 Romin Evo Pro Team in the matching color is quite the long term commitment...haha. Still not opposed to picking that up...just praying for a deal to pop up.

The BMC needs less red, not more.
The frame is subtle but beautiful in its own right and garish red parts easily overpower it. Some nice matte black tape will be fine and help the frame to stand out.
Lose the white cages for the same reason. Matte black or grey will be fine.
Get the light off the bar and put it under an out-front mount.
Put the chain on the big front ring and middle sprocket in the rear when you photograph the bike. The derailleur is all folded up with it crosschained small/small. It is Dura Ace for crying out loud - let it show.

I'm all for colored tape when it works, but it's not helping here. I like white, and it might look OK here, but black is definitely the safer bet. What might be interesting would be a something like oxblood. I think Brooks made cordovan leather tape, but it's probably hard to come by and you probably want something less vintage-y for this.
