Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm assuming tail light. If it's a reflector, I'm throwing my computer out the window. Anyway it's an automatic not-hot because of staging.

Ditched the gumwalls and went with black Vittoria Corsa's. Never thought I would see myself back on all black tires but I LOVE it! Changes the entire look and feel like I'm looking at a whole new bike.

Although it's not to my taste, I totally understand your enthusiasm over the new look - it's like you can sit with the "cool kids" now. And I won't deny the appeal that the black-by-default approach has for a lot of people. All in all, it's totally respectable (and in some ways, "respectable" isn't so "hot." ) What prevents this from being hot, though, is the randomness of everything that's not black, like the bright asterisk on the chain ring, the spots of polished metal elsewhere on the group, the spotty white bits on the wheels, and the blue on the bottles. I wouldn't suggest that every last spot has to be black, but there just doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind the bits that aren't. Small labels and such usually don't have much if any effect, but in this case - especially with the sort of clinical staging - they are much more apparent.

I dont think any of that affects the bike. He should have staged without the bottles in but other than that Im going with hot. Probably one of the better looking Cannondales. Im not a big fan of Cannondales so giving it a hot is tough for me but it looks great.

Some people, once they see SRAM, the blood rushes away from the brain to fuel the automatic hate fueled hard on and rationality vanishes.

Just look the other way folks, don't stare and point.

Those derailleurs look hideous. There's no getting around the giant battery.

Red mechanical looks better, and are less problematic.

QFT.

The manufacturer makes no difference to me. (I had SRAM Force on my old IF and liked it a lot.) They look hideous.

This thread is about personal opinions. If you cannot understand that you have no business here. You know what I'm sayin'?

Dura-Ace seems to skip a generation.

7400 looks good, 7700 is boring
7800 is nice looking, 7900 is hideous
9000 looks great, 9100 is meh

7000/8000/9100 derailleurs look like they belong on a mountain bike.
