Cycleops trainer question

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cycleops trainer question

I had my last road bike stolen out of a pinch lock in the back of my truck. At the time, I had my Cyclops trainer skewer on the bike. So now I have no skewer for my trainer. Will the trainer accept a standard rear wheel skewer? Or anyone know where I can get a new one?

The only place I have found to get one is a european website.

Thanks.

I believe most skewers will work. The Cyclops one was likely just heavier duty to avoid scratching up your good one and designed to fit a bit more snugly (roundish).
