Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dura Ace upgrades - cheaper now or later?

I've been picking up pieces at a time (should have just bought the damn bike with DA to begin with!) to have a full DA bike.

Have been poking around on sites monitoring prices and have found the shifters in the $270's and the crank in the $250's.

I don't need these now, and with the new DA lineup coming out, one would assume that prices for the old stuff should come down a bit.

Do you think the prices will come down at all before next summer? Does anyone remember what it was like buying DA 9-speed just after the 10-speed was announced?
