Tri saddles
Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences using a tri saddle on their road bike. I'm looking to upgrade from an awful stock saddle and a friend had an extra arione tri saddle that I plan to give a shot. I know there is a difference in the construction of the saddle that changes the feel when in the drops and when riding up right, does anyone have any first hand experience with the situation?

The big difference is a lot of extra padding on the nose of the saddle, because TT positioning rolls your pelvis forward and usually has most folks riding the nose of the saddle.
There's really no reason you can't use one.

I've considered using one for crits where I tend to ride on the nose. I don't know, maybe.

Alright sounds like it's worth a shot. I tend to ride up in the saddle more often than not so maybe this could be just what I need, thanks for the info.
