Waterbottle Problem
I was riding my Cannondale CAAD 8 the other night and my front water bottle cage broke off. It appears the housing for the bolts broke off the frame. I took it to my LBS and they said the holes were oversized and they couldn't find new a new housing that would fit. I generally use this bike for longer rides and need the cage. Is there another way to attach a waterbottle cage?

You might want to move this to the Bicycle Mechanics thread. I wonder if you can attach the cage using Velcro straps around the tube. Or maybe wire ties?

Or even hose clamps. You could epoxy a nut over the hole or even have someone experience with uber thin walled Al tubes weld one in place.

I thought there was a tool to fix the rivet back into place.

I've tried using zip ties but I can't get it tight enough so that it doesn't wobble around everywhere.
