2007 Specialized Tarmac Elite
Hello forum....I am looking to purchase this bike, but I have a few questions. First of all the seller of this bike is selling it for $1100....from all of the other places that I have looked this looks pretty low for this type of bike and for just being a year old. I was just wanting to know does this sound too good to be true? He says there are a few minor scratches, no defects. Secondly, what should I look for when buying a carbon fiber frame bike besides the obvious cracks? Thanks.

no you shouldn't buy it, but you should give me the sellers info and I will take it off his hands!

yeah that is a real steal. get the serial number off hte housing and call specialized to see if it is stolen. If the seller has an issue with you running the serial number then don't buy it and call the cops.
