Carbon weight limit?

Ok so next season i will begin racing. I have a decent training wheelset (nothing special, Neuvation M28's) hey they are pretty strong and stay true. But for my races i want to use a 40-50mm carbon wheel....like the Neuvation c50 carbon clincher. I am going to be around 185-190lbs (10% bf) at the beginning of next season. Is that too heavy for a carbon wheelset? i dont want to spend close to a $1000 on a wheelset just to ruin them....

A pair of used Zipp 404 Clydesdales sound about right.

Factoring in warrenty/crash replacement or lack thereof should be part of your decision whether or not you should buy "X" wheelset. I wouldn't think twice about a carbon clincher as I trained on a set last fall and this spring/summer. They held up great. I'm 165. I am a little more conservative with a full carbon tubular for no good reason other than I've crash replaced a couple and even that gets expensive.

Each wheel maker is different though. Ask them for the best answer. Opinions here mean less than zero.
