Frame Size for forward saddle position...?
Good Morning from Oxford, CT.
Question, if one was going to adopt a more forward saddle position, (ala triathlon) by say 2 or more centimeters that would typically also entail purchasing a longer stem to keep the cockpit length comparable. This would also move the center of balance farther forward on the bike. Now, if one were then going to purchase a new frame and want the same pedalling position would it make sense to go from a 56cm to a 58cm so as to keep the same forward pedalling position without having to use the longer stem thus keeping the center of gravity back ??? Thanks ! J. |
Bump ? :innocent:

I don't think you can keep the current CG and move fwd 2cm? Do you want to keep your current set back or move fwd 2cm?

Then yes that is possible only with a larger frame. I only have a four year degree which took me five years to get, so I'd get a second opinion though.
