Ogle or heckle my new ride at will...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ogle or heckle my new ride at will...

I recently picked up this new fuji team rival, full sram rival cept the brakes are cane creek scr3. Wheel are the shimano wh-r500(I am keeping for now, so if you have tips on keeping them working well). Frame and fork are C7 high modulus carbon fiber.

Let the oogling and ridiculing begin!

It looks like a slow piece of crap. I'll give you $50 for it. That should help you find a replacement.

Oh yeah, what's with the seat taking a noise dive?

awesome, yeah I knew the seat thing would prlly be one of the first comments, I did a quick adjustment while riding and got it in a more ridable range, still tweaking it to my taste. The front wheel is down a bit though from the trainer too, so it's a little bit of optical illusion.

I like it. Rival has been a surprise for me. I ride Dura Ace on all my other bikes, but Rival has been awesome and weighs the same for more than 1/2 the price. What does the bike weigh?

you mean rival is 1/2 less than dura ace.

the more i see fuji the more i like them.

only complaint is 08 rival when 09 rival is out for the same$$ or less...just saw the brifters go for $200 flat last night on ebay.

lighter than dura-ace and for much less coin. oh, and the shifting is excellent.

I needed to flip the stem and check the state of tune after my first ride yesterday. I have a small place so living room is where I can work and on the trainer till acquire a work stand.

It's a carbon frame and fork. $1360+tax is what I am out over the ext few months, well not including other goodies I am spoiling my wife and I with for our car-free adventure.
