2 day stage race

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i'm doing the tour of the catskills in 3 weeks. 2 day stage race, 52 miles per day. lots of climbing. i'm planning on doing alot of climbing for the next 2 weeks to semi prepare for it. how's that sound?

Too little, too late.

It may help some but you should have started weeks ago.

Make sure you taper a bit a few days before the event. Several 2 hour easy rides.

That will give you the best of what you've got.

^ Agreed. At this point the focus needs to be recovering from Day 1. Eats lot. Drink lots, rest as much as possible.

Your at the point that the studying is over. Time to take the test.
