Bike Comp. w/ Basic Features & 3-4 lines data

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bike Comp. w/ Basic Features & 3-4 lines data

I bought a TT bike and I'll probably use it almost solely for races. I need a new bike comp for it and after reading several threads can't make up my mind. On my road bike I have a Polar CS200 and it's been fine. I've had the same experiences as many other users. i.e. cuts out under power lines. Slightly annoying, but not a total deal breaker. I'm looking at the CatEye models as a possible alternative to getting another CS200, but I've heard complaints about battery life (the CS200 batteries have been going for 3 years now and I can't imagine how ticked off I'd be if my comp died in a race). I'm open to other brands/models as well.
All I need is:
1) Current Speed
2) Avg. Speed
3)
Distance
4)
Cadence (nice to have, but not too useful to me in a race. so i'm willing to loose this feature)
And I want to be able to see all of these at the same time.
HR isn't necessary, but I wouldn't mind paying for it if that's what it takes to get the other functions I want.
