94 or 95 trek carbon TT bike? Specs?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

94 or 95 trek carbon TT bike? Specs?

A guy at work has a 94 or 95 trek full composite frame TT bike with campy components. He paid 1200 for it at the time (kind of alot then for a bike im assuming)...he wants to sell it for 300...the thing is in mint condition. He says he only used it for a few triathalons back in the day. Is this a steal?

What campy components were out in the mid 90's and would they still be competitive?

What bike could this be? He said he didnt remeber except for its a trek. Its hanging in his garage...but I wanna know now so I can google it.

Depends, are you looking at buying this because it's cool or because you need a budget TT bike? If it's the cool one, then do research. If it's the budget reason, make sure everything works, make sure you can get replacement parts incase anything breaks, then buy.
